Anne Malina

Anne Malina, age 82, 65 Orchard Street, Salamanca, New York passed away peacefully Friday evening, August 20, 2010 at her home surrounded by her family.

Born on September 21, 1927 in Ocean View, New Jersey she was the daughter of the late Joseph Lloyd and Esther Barbour. She was married on March 16, 1946 to Mr. Edward Malina who predeceased her on August 12, 2005.

She was a member of the Ladies auxiliary of the American Legion Hughes-Skiba Post #535, the Ladies Auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars John F. Ahrens Post #5296. She enjoyed traveling the last year and living life to the fullest.

Surviving are: 4 daughters, Mary Anne (Charles) Dach, Custer City, Pa., Susan (Rodney) Staples, Kenmore, New York, Nancy (Doug) Lasseter, Greenwood, New York, Rosie Barrile, Salamanca, New York; a son, Edward (Ann Wadsworth) Malina, Essex Junction, Vermont; 13 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; a sister, Mary Gibson, Somers Point, New Jersey; several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by 3 brothers, Edward Lloyd, Matthew Lloyd, William Lloyd, and a sister, Agnes Trout.

Friends may call at the O'Rourke & O'Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, New York on Monday morning, August 23, 2010 from 10:00 - 11:30 A.M.at which time funeral services will be held with Rev. Patrick Melfi, pastor of Our Lady of Peace Parish, officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to the charity of the donor's choice.

Burial will be in St. Bonaventure Cemetery, Allegany, New York.
