Mrs. Beatrice Ambuske, 83, of 222 Clinton Street, Salamanca, N.Y. and 2150 Sallies Lane, Winston-Salem, N.C. died Friday (February 19, 2010) at the Forsyth Medical Center, Winston Salem, N.C. after a lengthy illness. She was a very loving mother, wife, and grandmother.
Born on February 5, 1927 in Salamanca, N.Y. she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Nina Vaughan Goodrich. She was married on October 16, 1948 to Mr. Harry Ambuske who survives.
Mrs. Ambuske was a member of the former Kissinger United Methodist Church.
Surviving are: 2 daughters, Sharon (Thomas) Prybylo, Winston/Salem, N. C., Rhonda (David) Albert, West Seneca, N.Y.; 1 son, Stephen Ambuske, Winston/Salem, N.C.; 7 grandchildren, Kasia Prybylo, Roanoke, Va., Krista (Christopher) Pearce, Clemmons, N.C., Keri Prybylo, Winston-Salem, N.C., Mollie Ambuske, Ashley Ambuske, and Joshua Ambuske, all of Salamanca,N.Y., Lyndsay Albert, West Seneca, N.Y.; 6 great grandchildren, Riley Ann, Jessica Leigh, Logann, Ashton, Emma, Cameron; several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by 1 sister, Patricia Paivanas.
There will be no visitation.
A memorial service will be held in the O'Rourke & O'Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, New York on Saturday, May 29, 2010at 11 A.M..
Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Salamanca, N.Y.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to the American Heart Association and the American Lung Association in her name.
