Darla J. Granger
Mrs. Darla J. Granger, 64, of Salamanca, New York died unexpectedly Tuesday morning, August 4, 2015 at her home.
Born March 3, 1951 in Salamanca, New York, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Eleanor Kettle Jimerson. She was married on August 8, 1981 to Mr. Roger Granger, who survives.
Mrs. Granger was a graduate of Salamanca High School Class of 1969.
She was employed U.S.D.A Rural Development for 37 years prior to her retirement. She had previously worked for S.N.I.
Mrs. Granger was an enrolled member of the Seneca Nation of Indians and the Hawk Clan.
Surviving besides her husband are: a son, William Granger, Killbuck, NY; a daughter, Jennifer Granger, Salamanca, NY.
She was predeceased by a brother, Gregory Jimerson.
Friends may call at the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, New York on Friday from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Saturday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Bruce Smith of Higgins Wesleyan Church, Fillmore, New York officiating.
Burial will be in Memorials Heights Cemetery, Jimersontown, New York.
