Edith Lorraine Miller, age 61, of Waite Ave. Salamanca, New York died Sunday, May 10, 2009 at Bradford Manor, Bradford, PA.
Born on September 4, 1947 in Buffalo, New York she was the daughter of the late Findley and Edith Hill Wilson.
She was employed as a Substance Abuse and Alcohol Counselor for the Native American Community Services, Buffalo, New York prior to her retirement.
She was an enrolled member of the Mohawk Nation, Turtle Clan and the Chapter of Native Woman, Fort Erie Ontario.
Surviving are: one daughter, Michelle Miller, Olean, New York; one son, Gonio Miller, Salamanca, New York; one grandson; one sister, Donna Jonathan, Buffalo, New York; 2 brothers, Jerry (Nancy) Wilson, Jimmy Wilson, both of Buffalo, New York; Several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a sister Sharon Wilson.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 9:00 A.M. – 10:00 A.M. at the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, New York at which time funeral and committal services will be held in the funeral home.
Burial will be in Memorial Heights Cemetery, Jimersontown, New York.
