Mrs. Jeanne M. Creeley, age 66, of Killbuck, New York died Saturday morning, November 7, 2009 at her home following a long illness.
Born on April 8, 1943 in Bradford, Pa. she was the daughter of the late Glenn & Rosa Cusick Gilmoure. She was married on November 27, 1965 in Bradford, Pa. to Mr. Frank Creeley who survives.
Mrs. Creeley worked for 42 years as a secretary at Bradford Area Senior High Schools retiring in 2005.
She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion Hughes-Skiba Post #535, Women of the Moose, Ladies of the Elk Lodge #1025, she enjoyed knitting, crocheting, making baby bundles, and playing bingo.
Surviving besides her husband are: 2 daughters, Paula Creeley, Salamanca, New York, Jodi (Doug) Poling, Great Valley, New York; 3 granddaughters, Sara (Travis) Aderman, Salamanca, New York, Keira (Chris Miller) Poling, Killbuck, New York, Katie Poling, Great Valley, New York; 5 great grandchildren; 3 sisters, Connie (John) Brooks, West Middlesex, Pa., Jacqueline Songer, Port Allegany, Pa., Kay (William) Highfield, Statesboro, Georgia; several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a sister Bonnie Doris DeGolier.
Friends may call at the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, New York on Tuesday from 4-7 P.M. and Wednesday from 10-11 A.M. at which time funeral services which will be held with Pastor Sam Marchetta officiating.
Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery, Salamanca, New York.
