Jeannne Gaynor

Jeanne W. Gaynor in early morning daybreak December 1 took the hand of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and went home to her mansion that He prepared for her in Glory. Born in Salamanca, N.Y. on June 5, 1922. Married to the late Charles J. Gaynor for 48 years. A daughter of the late John & Lillian (Mohr) Brown. A sister to the late Norma Bentley & John Brown, sister to George Brown (Salamanca), Marion Mealey (Bradford). Jeanne earned a Bachelor degree in Teaching at Nyack College in NY, NY. She worked for Dessie Scott Children’s Home in Kentucky, retired sales clerk from Montgomery Ward. Jeanne loved to read, family gatherings, hot tea, hosting and helping friends and strangers, listening to Jack Holcomb music, cooking & baking, getting her hair done, praying like a warrior, loving tons and tons. She enjoyed many many nieces and nephews too many to mention. She is survived by 3 children: Kathy McElroy and husband the late Keith McElroy of Wapwallopen,Pa; Matthew Gaynor and wife Debra of Loxahatchee, Florida; Teri Hill and husband Scott of Mountain Top, Pa. Grandchildren: Todd Briggs, Bobby Briggs, Fred McElroy, Tommy McElroy, late Kevin McElroy, Melinda Carrington, Jackie Lugo, Kelly Norman, Joshua Gaynor, Angel Gaynor, Christopher, BethAnn Kolodgie, Brian Hill. Great grandchildren: Kristen, Tyler (McElroy), Madison, Kaylie, Olivia (McElroy), Reese, Malika, Kevin (Carrington), Zack, Jacob, Gabe, Seth (Briggs), Austin, Summer, Robby, Lucas (Briggs), Destiny, Justice, Blaze, Mercy, Emmanuel, Melody (Lugo), Lily, Levi, Elim, Enoch, Jasher, Eden (Norman), Brady, Deacon, Eliza (Kolodgie), Ronan (Hill).
