Kenneth Watt

Kenneth E. Watt, 94, of Salamanca, NY died Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at Olean General Hospital, Olean, NY following a short illness.

Born May 22, 1926 in Quaker Bridge, NY, he was the son of the late Harry and Helen Mohawk Watt.

Mr. Watt was an enrolled member of the Seneca Nation of Indians and the Wolf Clan. He was a part time preacher for the American Indian Church, Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN.

He was a veteran of the United States Army, serving during WWII. He was awarded the Asiatic-Pacific Theater Ribbon and the WWII Victory Medal.

He had been employed as an Iron Worker for Iron Workers Local 512 in Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN.

Surviving are: three daughters, Terry (Frank) Dorgan, Donna (Pat) Eagan, Valerie (Donald) Stafford, all of Niagara Falls, NY; a son, Dana (Terry) Watt, Niagara Falls, NY; ten grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; a sister, Brenda Galitz, Council Bluffs, IA; several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a son, Dale Watt, and a sister, Alfreida Watt.

Friends may call at the O'Rourke & O'Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, NY on Monday, January 4, 2021 from 9 – 11 a.m., at which time funeral services will be held with Pastor Dorman officiating.

Burial will be in Hillside Haven Cemetery, Steamburg, NY.
