Lucille M. Jarvis
Lucille M. Jarvis, 94, of Salamanca, NY died Monday evening, July 6, 2026 at the Absolut Care of Salamanca following a short illness.
Born November 20, 1931 in Salamanca, NY, she was the daughter of the late John and Elma Pavlick Bias. She was married October 4, 1952 in Bradford, PA to Howard Jarvis Sr., who predeceased her in 1982.
She was a graduate of Salamanca High School, Class of 1949.
Lucille enjoyed spending time with her family and crocheting. She was musically talented, playing the piano, organ, guitar, and accordion.
Surviving are: three daughters, Cheryl Akin, Jamestown, NY, Patricia Luccassen, Milton, FL, Darlene (Stan) Milanowski, Salamanca, NY; two sons, Daniel Jarvis, Salamanca, NY, Howard Jarvis Jr., NC; three granddaughters, Meredith Fries-Isaac, Megan Peddacio, both of Salamanca, NY, Leslie (Thomas) Ivey, VA; a grandson, Aaron Jarvis, NC; six great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a sister, Mary Bias, and four brothers, John Bias, Mitchell Bias, Gene Bias, and Jim Bias.
There will be no visitation.
A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, NY.
