Marsha Glinsky, age 63, of Ayden, N.C. formerly of Salamanca, N.Y. died Monday, April 2, 2012 at her home.
Born on December 10, 1948 in Salamanca, N.Y. she was the daughter of the late Wiley & Marion Edmund Holt. She was married on June 29, 1968 at the former St. Patrick's Church to Mr. Edward Glinsky who survives.
She was a member of St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Mother in Greenville, N.C.
Surviving besides her husband are: a daughter, Shannon (Tim) Oakley, Ayden, N.C.; 3 sons, Edward (Virginia) Glinsky, Gloucester Point, VA, USMC Capt. John (Angela) Glinsky, Jacksonville, N.C., James Glinsky, Gloucester, VA; 7 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren including Karleigh Rae Chamberlain who was born on her great-grandparent's anniversary; a sister, Ann Strang, Bolivar, N.Y.; several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a brother, David Holt on June 7, 1996.
Friends may call at the O'Rourke & O'Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, New York on Thursday from 5-7 P.M.
Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Friday morning at 11 A.M. with Rev. Patrick Melfi, pastor of Our Lady of Peace Parish, officiating.
Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery, Salamanca, NY.
