Mary A. Dry

Mary A. Dry, 89, of Salamanca, NY died Saturday, March 23, 2024 at Olean General Hospital following a long illness.

Born August 20, 1934 in Salamanca, NY, she was the daughter of the late John and Thelma Broderick Keller. She was married on May 8, 1954 in Holy Cross Church to Theodore J. Dry, who survives.

She was a graduate of Salamanca High School, Class of 1952.

Mary had been employed at the former JJ Newberry Company, Salamanca, NY prior to her marriage.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially attending her son’s various sporting events throughout the years. She was the Olean Oiler’s biggest fan. She will be remembered for all the ceramics that she made, and she also enjoyed the outdoors. Mary served on the Cattaraugus County Board of Elections for several years.

Surviving besides her husband are: a son, John Dry, Salamanca, NY; several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by two brothers, John Keller and Daniel Keller.

There will be no visitation.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of the family and will be announced.
