Victor L. Harrison

Victor L. Harrison, 69, of Steamburg, NY, died Sunday morning, December 2, 2018 at the Gowanda Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, following a long illness.

Born July 10, 1949 in Salamanca, NY, he was the son of the late Victor and Cora Burlin Harrison. He was married in Jimersontown, NY on May 11, 1975 to the former Florence Dowdy, who survives.

Mr. Harrison attended Salamanca High School.

He was employed as a construction worker for Merle Watt Construction, WV, Seneca Junction Construction, Carrollton, NY, the former AVM Signore, Ellicottville, NY, and Bush Industries in Jamestown, NY.

Mr. Harrison enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid Buffalo Bills and NASCAR fan.

Surviving besides his wife are: two sons, Theodore King, Arcade, NY, Timothy (Heather) Harrison, Jimersontown, NY; three daughters, Norma Harrison, Steamburg, NY, Leeanda (Brian Briggs) Harrison, Jamestown, NY, Shawn (Richard Tetschic) Harrison, FL; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Russell (Toni) Harrison, Great Valley, NY; several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a son, Raleigh Harrison and a brother, Dennis Harrison.

Friends may call at the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, NY 14779 on Wednesday form 3pm – 7pm.

Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Thursday at 10am with Rev. Wally Mapes Pastor of the Healing Reigns Fellowship officiating.

Burial will be in Hillside Haven Cemetery, Steamburg, NY.
