William Krysick

Mr. William R. Krysick, 87, formerly of 187 Academy Street, Salamanca, New York died Sunday morning (March 30, 2008) at the Waters of Salamanca, New York.

Born April 23, 1920 in Salamanca, New York he was the son of the late Peter and Josephine Redish Krysick.

Mr. Krysick was employed at the former Jamestown Table for twenty years prior to his retirement. He was later worked as the bookkeeper at the Veterans of Foreign War John F. Ahrens Post # 5296.

He was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars John F. Ahrens Post #5296,and the Holy Cross Athletic Club; a member of the American Legion Hughes-Skiba Post # 535 and the former Loyal Order of the Moose, Lodge # 1002.

Surviving are one son Mr. William Krysick, Ellicottville, New York, one daughter, Mrs. Susan Goodall, Sacramento, California, two grandsons,Brent Goodall, Anthony, both of the Sacramento area; one brother Mr. Matthew "Babe" Krysick, Great Valley, New York, one sister Mrs. Helen Light, Bucktooth Run, Little Valley, New York, a sister-in-law Athleen Krysick, Salamanca, New York, several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Krysick was predeceased by a son Peter Krysick and a brother Charles Krysick.

A memorial mass will be held in Our Lady of Peace (Holy Cross) on Wednesday (April 23, 2008) at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Piotr Zaczynski pastor of Our Lady Peace as celebrant.

Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Salamanca, New York
