Aliice Frank

Alice Frank, age 87, of Salamanca, New York died Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at Olean General Hospital, Olean, New York following a short illness.

Born on November 28, 1928 in Salamanca, New York daughter of the late Raymond and Anna Zelinski Biscup. She had been married to Mr. Neland Cummings who predeceased her in 1975. She later married Ward Frank who predeceased her in 1997.

Mrs. Frank had been employed with the Custodial Department at Salamanca Central School for over 20 years

She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #5296, former member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion Hughes-Skiba Post #535, the Holy Cross Athletic Club and the former Women of the Moose Lodge #96. She enjoyed spending time with her family, Cooking, playing cards and bingo.

Surviving are: a daughter, Judy Felten, Salamanca, New York; 3 sons, Dennis (Tammy) Cummings, Salamanca, New York, Terry (Bonnie) Cummings, Great Valley, New York, Clifford Cummings, Salamanca, New York; 4 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild; a sister, Geraldine Courteau, Salamanca, New York; several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by 2 sisters, Dorothy Rorick, Marie Vail, and a brother, Leonard Biscup.

There will be no visitation.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, New York.

A graveside service will be held in Calvary Cemetery, Salamanca, New York on Friday (June 17,2016 at 10:00 AM with Deacon Michael Anderson officiating .
