Allen C. DeBoy

Allen C. DeBoy, age 53, of Bozard Hill Road, Great Valley, new York died Wednesday evening, May 30, 2012 at his home after a long courageous fight with cancer..

Born on August 28, 1958 in Salamanca, New York he was the son of Daniel DeBoy, Machias, New York and Shirley Waite Green, Great Valley, New York. He was married on September 14, 2003 to the former Linda Chamberlain who survives.

Mr. DeBoy was employed at the former King Windows and worked in maintenance at the Absolut of Salamanca for over 15 years retiring due to his illness in August 2011.

He was a member of the Square Circle Club, Killbuck, New York and he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and the outdoors. He was very creative and a skilled builder. He will be remembered for his great sense of humor.

Surviving besides his wife and parents are: a son, Allen DeBoy; a daughter, Melissa (Brent) Milligan, Olean, New York; step daughter, Beth (Scott) Swan, Humphrey, New York; step son, Richard McCormick, Yorkshire, New York; multiple grandchildren; 3 sisters, Lori (Bruce) Johnson, Florida, Elaine (David) Jamieson, Orchard Park, New York, Dawn (Tony) Caruso, Sloan, New York; a brother, Timothy (Kris) DeBoy, Cheektowaga, New York; many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the O'Rourke & O'Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, New York on Friday evening from 7-9 P.M.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home with Rev. Michael Lonto, pastor of St. Mary's Episcopal Church, officiating.

Burial will be in Green Cemetery, Great Valley, New York.
