Ann Strang

Ann M. Strang, 73, formerly of Salamanca, NY, died Saturday, April 29, 2017 at the home of her daughter in Bolivar, NY.

Born March 31, 1944 in Salamanca, NY, she was the daughter of the late Wiley T. and Marian L. Edmund Holt. She was married on May 29, 1976 to Mr. David Aaron Strang, who predeceased her on December 18, 1993.

She was employed as a resident caregiver with JN Adams DDSO in Salamanca for 17 years prior to her retirement.

She enjoyed playing Bingo, cards, and watching game shows.

Surviving are: a daughter, Angela (Brian) Hicks, Bolivar, NY; 4 sons, David (Chrissy) Strang, Salamanca, NY, Scott Strang, Wilmington, NC, Brian (Rebecca) Strang, Salamanca, NY, Matthew (Christina) Strang, Logan, UT; 16 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a great-granddaughter, Addisyn Ann Crawford, a brother, David Holt, and a sister, Marsha E. Glinsky.

Friends may call at the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, NY on Wednesday from 11 a.m. 1 – p.m., at which time funeral and committal services will be held with Rev. Stan Scoville officiating.
