Ann Frank
Mrs. Ann Frank, 101, of Salamanca, NY died Tuesday evening, September 21, 2021 at Olean General Hospital following a short illness.
Born January 30, 1920 in Salamnaca, NY, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Mary Kalka Dolecki. She was married in Salamanca in June of 1950 to Mr. Homer Frank, who predeceased her in 1971.
She had been employed with Ethan Allen making furniture for over 25 years in Salamanca and Frewsburg. She had also been employed at the former Taylor Jamestown Furniture in Salamanca and during WWII worked at the former Rathbun Molding Company in Salamanca.
Anna was a member of Our Lady of Peace Parish.
Surviving are: two daughters, Susan (Duncan) Nims, Boise, ID, Nancy Sedlak, Salamanca, NY; two grandsons, Jonathan Nims, Boise, ID, Christopher Nims, Meridian, ID.
She was predeceased by two sisters, Lillian Dolecki and Esther Dolecki, and five brothers, Chester Dolecki, Victor Dolecki, Johnny Dolecki, Frank Dolecki, and infant Max Dolecki.
There will be no visitation.
A memorial mass will be held at Our Lady of Peace Parish, 274 Broad Street, Salamanca NY on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at 10 a.m. with Rev. Mariusz Sierhart, pastor, as celebrant.
Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Salamanca, NY.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, NY.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society or Our Lady of Peace Parish.
