Anson "Buddy" Bova
Anson “Buddy” Bova, 30, of Salamanca, NY died Tuesday morning, October 11, 2016 shortly after being admitted to the Buffalo General Hospital.
Born January 22, 1986 in Jamestown, NY, he was the son of Anson (Jo) Bova of the Allegany Territory and the late Brenda “Beeber” George.
He had been employed with the Seneca Nation Department of Public Works in Steamburg, NY.
Buddy was an enrolled member of the Seneca Nation of Indians, the Hawk Clan, enjoyed playing lacrosse, and was an outdoor enthusiast.
Surviving besides his father and stepmother are: his love, Katie Rogers; a daughter, Keira Elizabeth Bova; a son, Anson “Collin” Bova, all of Salamanca, NY; five siblings, Leana (Lamarr) Spruce, Kill Buck, NY, Jeremiah “Toast” (Ashleigh) Bova, Salamanca, NY, Miranda (Jeffrey Redeye) Bova, Salamanca, NY, Zachary (Jessica Zibura) Bascom, Warren, PA, Toby Bova, Salamanca, NY; several nieces and nephews; three step-siblings, Nicole Wilkey, Gowanda, NY, Russell (Amy) Prichard, Arcade, NY, Brandy Prichard, Machias, NY.
Friends may call at the home of Arlene Bova, 3651 Center Road, Jimersontown, NY beginning Wednesday after 7 p.m. and continuing all day Thursday.
Funeral services will be held in the home on Friday at 9 a.m.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, NY.
Burial will be in Memorial Heights Cemetery.
