Antoinette Clark

Antoinette Clark, age 97, of New Street, Salamanca, New York died Saturday, March 13, 2010 at the Lake Ridge Care Facility, Buffalo, Minnesota.

Born on September 1, 1912 in Vandalia, New York she was the daughter of the late Frank & Mary Fallanca Quattrone. She was married on to Mr. Nils W. Clark predeceased her in 1966.

Mrs. Clark was employed as a custodial engineer at the Salamanca District High School for many years. She had also worked at Holiday Valley in Ellicottville, New York.

She was a member of Our Lady of Peace Church (St. Patrick’s Church) and the Altar & Rosary Society. She was known for her beautiful quilts that she made for her family as well as various benefits.

Surviving are: a son, James (Evelyn) Clark, Minnesota; 4 grandchildren, Michelle, Erica, Matthew, Steven ; 5 great grandchildren, Layne, Hannah, Kolton, Chase, Mason; a brother, Bruno (Pat) Quattrone, Salamanca, New York; 2 sisters, Sara Kyler, Salamanca, New York, Margaret (Henry) Van Rhode, Salamanca, New York; several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by 2 brothers, Peter Quattrone, Anthony Quattrone, and a sister, Nancy Rettig.

Friends may call at the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, New York on Sunday, March 21, 2010 from 4-7 P.M.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday morning at 10 A.M. in of Our Lady of Peace Church with Rev. Patrick Melfi, pastor, as celebrant.

Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Salamanca, New York.
