Bernice G. Weldy

Mrs. Bernice G. Weldy, 68, of Salamanca, NY died early Saturday morning, October 20, 2018 at home following a long illness.

Born August 9, 1950 in Salamanca, NY, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Ilda Snow Weldy. She was married October 6, 1969 to Mr. Stephen Campbell, who predeceased her in 1995.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and loved her animals, two dogs, two birds, and a cat.

Surviving are: four daughters, Ilda (Donald) Mett, Kristine Gleason, both of Salamanca, NY, Shannon Campbell, Bradford, PA, Elizabeth Skinner, Salamanca, NY; a son, Patrick Campbell, Salamanca, NY; 21 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a sister, Shirley (Thomas) Fisher, Salamanca, NY; several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a sister, Virginia Johnson, and a brother, Howard Weldy Jr.

Memorial visitation will be held in the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, NY on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 from 12 - 1 pm. A Memorial Service will be held in the funeral home at 1 pm with Pastor Ken Doyle, officiating.
