Mrs. Betty Conklin, 84, of Salamanca, NY died Tuesday, February 22, 2022 in Salamanca, NY following a short illness.

Born May 11, 1937 in Bradford, PA, she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Laura Jones Miller. She was married on April 22, 1962 in Salamanca, NY to Mr. Clair Conklin, who predeceased her in 2018.

Mrs. Conklin was employed at Larimer & Norton, Ellicottville, NY, the former Sheble & Woods Woolen Mills, the former Seneca Craftsman, both of Salamanca, NY prior to her retirement.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Salamanca Volunteer Fire Company. In her younger years, she enjoyed bowling and tending her flowers.

Surviving are: two daughters, Amy Ginnitti, Little Valley, NY, Brenda (Tony) Pascarella, Salamanca, NY; nine grandchildren, Christy Hart, Michael Miller, Jay Miller, Katie Miller, Ashley Miller, Sierra Whitmore, Logan Whitmore, Deni Whitmore, Emily Ginnitti; two brothers, Charlie Miller, Salamanca, NY, Larry (Laurie) Miller, Little Valley, NY; several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by two daughters, Wanda Miller and Bonnie Miller, eight sisters, Edith Miller, Barbara Cleveland, Ruth Miller, Jessie Miller, Baby Miller, Pearl Gynnip, Loretta Jimerson, Mary Quigley, and two brothers, George Miller and Percy Miller.

There will be no visitation.

A springtime graveside committal service will be held at Crawford Cemetery, Salamanca, NY at the convenience of the family and will be announced.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, NY.
