Betty L. Jackson

Mrs. Betty Jackson, 89, of Salamanca, NY died Sunday, August 13, 2017 at Buffalo General Hospital, Buffalo, NY.

Born July 8, 1928 in Falls Creek, PA, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Freda Britton Johnson. She was married June 28, 1947 to Howard E. Jackson, who predeceased her on March 14, 2012.

She had been employed as a Manager at the former Outdoor Store in Salamanca

She was a member of the former Women of the Moose, Eagles Club #616, Olean, New York, and Women’s Bowling League in both Salamanca and Olean

Surviving are: two daughters, Bedelia “Bea” (Timothy) Jadlowski and Nancy Austin, both of Salamanca, NY; six grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; many great-great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a grandson, Jeffrey Thurston, a brother Harold Johnson; two sisters Alameda Foster and Ruth Mohr.

There will be no visitation.

A graveside memorial service will be held in Wildwood Cemetery at the convenience of the family
