Blake C. Spruce

Blake C. Spruce, 30, of Salamanca, NY passed away Thursday, September 28, 2023.

Born June 11, 1993 in Buffalo, NY, he was the son of Wade Spruce of Little Valley and Georgianna Lecceardone of Salamanca.

Blake was an enrolled member of the Seneca Nation of Indians and the Heron Clan.

He attended Salamanca High School and received his GED.

He had been employed in security with Seneca Gaming & Entertainment and had previously been employed with the Seneca Allegany Casino.

Blake enjoyed spending time with family and friends and participated in many area Yu-Gi-Oh Tournaments. He was also a performing artist who enjoyed making music.

Surviving besides his parents are: paternal grandmother, Luane Spruce, Salamanca, NY; two sisters, Randee Jean Spruce, Michaelynn Lecceardone, both of Salamanca, NY; two brothers, Cyrus Spruce, Salamanca, NY, Corey Spruce, Orchard Park, NY; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Eldena Halftown, and paternal grandfather, Cyrus C. Spruce.

Friends may call at the family home, 3746 Center Road, Salamanca, NY beginning Saturday afternoon, September 30, 2023 and continuing all day Sunday.

Longhouse services will be held in the family home on Monday at 10am with Speakers of the Coldspring Longhouse officiating.

Burial will be in Hillside Haven Cemetery, Steamburg, NY.
