Bradley John

Mr. Bradley C. John, age 59, of 360 Crawford Street, Salamanca, N.Y. died Saturday, January 9, 2010 at his home surrounded by his family .

Born on August 2, 1950 in Salamanca, N.Y. he was the son of the late Matthew and Estella Huff John. He was married to the former Pauline Redeye who survives.

Mr. John was employed as bricklayer with the International Union of Bricklayers & Allied Craft Workers Local #3.

He was an enrolled member of the Seneca Nation of Indians and the Wolf Clan.

Mr. John enjoyed gardening, pottery, and he was a silversmith. Family was very important to him.

Surviving besides his wife are: five daughters, Leslie John, Bridgette John, Jaime John, Julie John, Jesse (Chris Stahlman) Brown; four sons, Ward John, Gordon (Tracie) Brown, Seth Brown, Sky (Sunnea) Brown; 22 grandchildren; four sisters, Joyce (Martin Crouse) Huff, Salamanca, N.Y., Kathy (Tim Hyson) John, Salamanca, N.Y., Nancy (Steve) Frank, Steamburg, N.Y., Patricia (Andy Van Arnam) John, Salamanca, N.Y.; 2 brothers, Gerald “Deed” (Wendy) John, Salamanca, N.Y., Marc (Leslie “Annie”) John, Steamburg, N.Y. ; several nieces and nephews, an uncle and several aunts.

He was devoted to his grandchildren.

He was predeceased by 2 brothers, James Snyder, Anthony John, a nephew, Christopher Maybee, and a niece Marilyn Maglott Cruz.

Friends are being received at the family home, 360 Crawford Street, Salamanca, N.Y. on Sunday after 3 P.M. and all day Monday.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday morning at 10:30 A.M. in the Red House Memorial Chapel with Kevin John officiating.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, N.Y.

Burial will be in Memorial Heights Cemetery, Jimersontown, N.Y.
