Bradley P. Stahlman Sr.

Bradley P. Stahlman Sr., 55, of Sanborn, NY, formerly of Salamanca, died unexpectedly Monday morning, June 15, 2026 at Mount St. Mary’s Hospital, Lewiston, NY.

Born September 5, 1970 in Olean, NY, he was the son of Sandra (Doug) Stahlman-Sampson of Salamanca and the late Charles P. Stahlman.

He was a graduate of Limestone High School, Class of 1987, and earned his associate’s degree from Jamestown Community College.

Brad was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, joining at 17 and serving from 1988-1992. He passed the recon indoc to become a reconnaissance marine (0321) and served in the 1st Reconnaissance Battalion in Desert Storm.

He had been self-employed as a logger for over 20 years, owning and operating Stahlman Logging in Limestone. He had also been a member of the Laborer’s Local 621, working on various union construction sites.

He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, the outdoors, hunting, fishing, basketball, and darts. He was a boxer and had coached boxing and youth sports.

Brad courageously battled addiction for many years. In the final years of his life, he found sobriety, peace, and a renewed relationship with God. His strength, faith, and perseverance were an inspiration to those who knew and loved him. His journey was one of resilience, faith, and redemption, and he will be remembered for the peace he found and shared with others.

Surviving besides his mother are: a daughter, Alyssa (Darren Boon) Stahlman, Salamanca, NY; four sons, Bradley Stahlman Jr., Bryce Stahlman, Blane Stahlman, Benjamin Stahlman, all of Salamanca, NY; three granddaughters, Aliah John, Naressa Stahlman, Astell Boon; three grandsons, Reilly Stahlman, Victor Stahlman, Aries Boon, all of Salamanca, NY; his significant other, Loretta Gausworth, Sanborn, NY; a sister, Shanna (Darren) King, Salamanca, NY; four brothers, Jeffery Stahlman, Christopher Stahlman, Anthony (Natalie) Stahlman, all of Salamanca, NY, Sean (Cali) Stahlman, Gowanda, NY; several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a son, Uriah Stahlman, and a brother, Brandon Redeye.

Friends may call at the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, NY on Friday, June 19, 2026 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m., at which time funeral services will be held with Rev. Walter Printup of the Tuscarora Baptist Church, Sanborn, NY, officiating.

Full military honors will be conducted by members of the American Legion Hughes-Skiba Post 535 and the Veterans of Foreign Wars John F. Ahrens Post 5296.

Burial will be in Memorial Heights Cemetery, Jimersontown, NY.
