Carol Gunzelman

Carol B. Gunzelman, age 73, of Humphrey Road, Great Valley, New York died Thursday, December 13, 2007 at her home.

Born on December 21, 1933 in Buffalo, New York she was the daughter of the late George & Elsie Bertsch. She was married on September 23, 1952 to Wilbur J. Gunzelman (CSM. Ret) who predeceased her in 1981.

Mrs. Gunzelman attended the Great Valley Methodist Church. She was an avid reader and enjoyed playing free cell on her computer. She also loved to garden.

Surviving are: 2 sons, Karl J. Gunzelman (Col. Ret), Arlington, Virginia, Mark S. Gunzelman, Long Beach, California; 2 daughters, Karen G. (Rev. David), Ruckersville, Virginia; a step granddaughter, Rachel Brown, Sheffield Lake, Ohio; s sister, Eloise Benzel, Kenmore, New York; a brother, George Bertsch, Kenmore, New York.

There will be no visitation.

A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O'Rourke & O'Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, New York.
