Cathy Shinners Mott

Cathy Shinners Mott, 54, of Bradford, PA, formerly of Hanover, PA, died Tuesday morning, January 12, 2016 shortly after being admitted to the Bradford Regional Medical Center in Bradford, PA.

Born September 28, 1961 in Salamanca, New York, she was the daughter of Joyce Metzler Shinners of Salamanca, NY and the late Donald Shinners.

Surviving besides her mother are: a daughter, Marie Mott; a son, Shawn Mott; a grandson Dyvonté Mott, all of Bradford, PA; four brothers, Donald (Barbara) Shinners, Las Cruces, NM, David (Nancy) Shinners, Little Valley, NY, Daniel (Linda) Shinners, New Oxford, PA, William Shinners, Salamanca, NY; several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a brother, Patrick Shinners.

A memorial service will be held at the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, NY on Friday, January 15, 2016 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Michael Lonto, pastor of St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, officiating.
