Charlotte M. Woods, 95, of Salamanca, NY died Friday evening, July 19, 2019 at Salamanca Nursing & Rehab following a short illness.

Born February 20, 1924 in Fort Erie, Ontario, Canada, she was the daughter of the late David and Nellie Troupe Carrick. She was married July 7, 1951 at All Saints Roman Catholic Church, Buffalo, NY to Mr. Leo Woods, who predeceased her.

She had been employed in the meat department for over twenty-five years at the former Super Duper Market in Buffalo, NY retiring in 1988. During WWII, she worked for American Brass in Buffalo, NY.

She was a member of the All Saints Roman Catholic church, Buffalo, NY. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, she enjoyed camping and was an avid reader.

Surviving are: a daughter, Nancy (Joseph) Koebel, West Valley, NY; a son, Timothy Woods, Buffalo, NY; two granddaughters, Kristy (Michael Draper) Koebel, Hamburgh, NY, Kelsey Koebel, Great Valley, NY; a grandson, Joseph Koebel, West Valley, NY; several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by four brothers.

There will be no visitation.

A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family and will be announced.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, NY.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be sent to the SPCA or the donor’s choice.
