Christopher J. Brown

Christopher J. Brown, 51, of Salamanca, NY died Thursday, December 5, 2024 at home following a long illness.

Born December 18, 1972 in Bradford, PA, he was the son of the late George and Shirley Bullock Brown. He was married on July 3, 2005 to the former Colleena Nunn, who survives.

He attended Salamanca High School.

Chris had been employed with C&D Construction, Little Valley, NY for several years and had previously been employed at the former Sig Weld, Ellicottville, NY.

He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, riding motorcycles, and was a Harley Davidson enthusiast. He also enjoyed the outdoors and hunting with his children. He was looking forward to the coming birth of his first grandchild.

Surviving are: a daughter, Harley Brown; two sons, Dakota Brown, Levi Brown, all of Salamanca, NY; two sisters, Margo Washburn, Salamanca, NY, Lisa (James) Kinney, Shinglehouse, PA; a brother, Gregory Washburn, Salamanca, NY; several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a sister, Debra Pierce, and a niece, Brooke Pierce.

There will be no visitation.

A graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family and will be announced.

Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery, Salamanca, NY.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, NY.
