Clyde (Ralph) Schine
Mr. Clyde (Ralph) Schine, USAF retired and Vietnam Veteran 81, of Killbuck, New York, passed away Wednesday (December 31, 2014
Born on November 24, 1933 to the late Joseph and Hazel Layton Schine. He retired from the US Air Force after 23 years of service including a tour in Vietnam. On December 31, 1955 he married the former Jennie Siafakas who survives.
Surviving besides his wife are: 2 daughters, Debra (Ronald) Anderson Sr., Killbuck, New York, Kim (Guy) Harrison Jr., Killbuck, New York; one son Jamie (Kathy) Schine, Killbuck,NY four grandchildren; Dawn Anderson, Killbuck, NY, Heather Schnittger, Salamanca, NY, Joshua Harrison, Killbuck, NY Alyssa Harrison, Killbuck, NY; two great-grandchildren, Corey Gebauer, Kailey Schnittger, both of Salamanca, NY a sister, Evelyn Lawson, Killbuck, New York: several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a grandson, Ronald Anderson Jr. on January 26, 2000, five brothers, Kirk Schine, LeRoy Schine, Craig Schine, Fredrick Schine, Aden Schine.
Friends may call at the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, New York on Saturday (January 3, 2015) from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM with funeral services immediately following with Fr. Michael Lonto pastor of St. Marys Episcopal Church officiating
Burial will be in Green Cemetery, Great Valley, New York.
Full Military Honors will be performed by members of the American Legion Hughes-Skiba Post # 535 and the Veterans of Foreign Wars, John Ahrens Post # 5296
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to St. Judes Children Hospital
