Curtis A. Jimerson

Curtis A. Jimerson, 69, of Salamanca, NY died Friday, July 7, 2023 at Olean General Hospital following a short illness.

Born March 19, 1954 in Olean, NY, he was the son of the late Bert and Allison Watt Jimerson. He was married on September 9, 1999 in Sonderborg, Denmark to the former Angelica Borger, who survives.

He was an enrolled member of the Seneca Nation of Indians and the Turtle Clan.

He attended Springville High School.

Curtis was a veteran of the United States Army, serving in Europe and Honduras.

He had been employed with the Seneca Nation Water Treatment Plant for over five years and had last been employed at Nafco, Salamanca, NY.

He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, music and playing guitar. He was also and avid Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabers fan.

Surviving besides his wife are: a daughter, Arron Mallet, Carbondale, IL; two sons, Christopher Jimerson, Johnstown, PA, Jonathan Jimerson, Salamanca, NY; two sisters, Sheila Keeves, West Seneca, NY, Jennifer Jimerson, Salamanca, NY; three brothers, Timothy (Pauline) Jimerson, Salamanca, NY, Theodore John, Allegany, NY; several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a brother, Thomas John.

There will be no visitation.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, NY.
