Darren L. Freeman

Darren L. Freeman, 39, of Salamanca, NY died Wednesday evening, June 23, 2021 at home following a long illness.

Born December 4, 1981 in Jamestown, NY, he was the son of Vicki Brown Birt, Falconer, NY, and the late Richard Freeman. He was married in Lake City, FL on December 11, 2008 to the former Andrea Smouse, who survives.

He was a graduate of Pine Valley High School, Class of 2001.

Darren had been employed as an aircraft mechanic with Timco in Lake City, FL.

He enjoyed spending time with his family and was an avid sports fan who enjoyed watching football and baseball.

Surviving besides his mother and wife are: two sisters, Shannon (Jeremy Spinler) Hallowell, Sherman, NY, Felicia Freeman, Lake City, FL; a brother, Richard Freeman III, Lake City, FL; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Friends may call at the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, NY on Monday, June 28, 2021 from 1 – 4pm, at which time funeral services will be held by members of the family.
