David "DJ" Biscup Jr.

David “DJ” Biscup Jr., age 55,formerly of State Park Ave, Salamanca, New York died early Tuesday morning, February 7, 2017 at The Fiddler’s Green Manor, Springville, New York.

Born March 1, 1961 in Salamanca, New York, he was the son of David Biscup Sr., Salamanca, New York, and the late Marsha Armstrong Biscup, who predeceased him on February 2, 2014.

DJ was a graduate of Salamanca High School Class of 1980.

He had been employed as Store Manager of Biscup’s True Value Hardware Store in Ellicottville, New York and previously had been employed in the Salamanca store.

He was a member of Our Lady of Peace Parish, the Antique Automobile Club of America, the Studebaker Club of America, and the World Plymouth Club. He was a former member of the Holy Cross Club. He was a sports fan – he loved the New York Yankees, Buffalo Bills, and Buffalo Sabres. When he was younger, he enjoyed downhill skiing at Holiday Valley.

Surviving besides his father are: 1 sister, Carrie (Ralph) Kowsky, Lockport, NY; 1 brother, Jonathan Biscup, Salamanca, NY.

Memorial visitation will be held in the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, New York on Saturday, February 18, 2017 from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m., at which time a memorial service will be held with Deacon Michael Anderson of Our Lady of Peace Parish officiating.

Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Salamanca, New York.
