Mr. David Morrison, 50, of Dublin Road, Salamanca, New York died Saturday (January 2, 2010) at the Olean General Hospital
Born June 1, 1959 in Salamanca, New York he was the son of David (Cindy) Morrison of Little Valley, New York and the late Bonita Shongo. He was married on July 4, 1999 to the former Teresa Brown who survives.
Mr. Morrison was employed by the New York State Department of Transportation, Salamanca, New York
He was an enrolled member of the Seneca Nation of Indians, Bear Clan and the CSEA Union
Surviving besides his wife are two sons. Jon Morrison, Salamanca, NY, Preston Quinn, Mt. Pelier OH, three daughters, Erika Morrison, Salamanca, NY, Victoria Quinn, Salamanca, NY, Sierra Quinn, Salamanca, New York, one granddaughter Jaeden Hubbard, Salamanca, New York, two half sisters, Amy Wilkins, Little Valley, New York, Patty (Marty) Velie, Little Valley, New York, two half brothers, Kevin (Hazel) Morrison, Little Valley, New York, Terry (Erin) Morrison, Little Valley, New York Several nieces and nephews.
A sister, Debbie Morrison predeceased Mr. Morrison
Friends may call at the family home 8005 Dublin Road, Salamanca, on Tuesday after 4:00 PM and all day Wednesday. Funeral services will be held in the family home on Thursday at 1:00 PM with Michael Trenchard officiating.
Burial will be in Memorial Heights Cemetery, Jimersontown, NY.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, New York.
