Delia Frost

Mrs. Delia M. Frost, age 91, of 53 Eagle Street, Salamanca, New York died, Friday, April 17, 2009 at Absolut of Salamanca following a short illness. Born on July 12, 1917 in Randolph, New York she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mable Yaw Gates. She was married on July 27, 1935 to Mr. Eugene Frost who predeceased her in 1978. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Randolph, New York and The Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion, Randolph, New York and volunteer at the former Salamanca District Hospital for over 10 years. Surviving are one son, Mr. Eugene “Jack” (Shirley)Frost of Fairmont Avenue, Salamanca, New York; 7 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 2 daughters, Shirley Beiling and Lorraine Metzler. There will be no visitation. Burial will be in Green Cemetery, Great Valley, New York at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc., Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, New York.
