Dennis L. Cavender

Dennis L. Cavender, age 63, of Garden Avenue, Olean, New York, formerly of Jimersontown, Salamanca, New York, died unexpectedly Thursday, April 11, 2013 at home.

Born March 13, 1950 in Dunkirk, New York, he was the son of the late Denver and Barbara Mohr Cavender.

He was an enrolled member of the Seneca Nation of Indians, Turtle Clan.

Mr. Cavender was a graduate of Fredonia High School, class of 1968.

He was an avid comic book collector and enjoyed Westerns. He enjoyed walking and being outdoors. He also enjoyed all kinds of sport, especially the Buffalo Bills.

Surviving are: 1 sister, Roxanne Cavender, Jimersontown, 1 brother, Robert Cavender, his care taker, Subrina Wilber, Olean, NY, and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

He was predeceased by 1 brother, Ronnie Cavender.

Friends may call at the O'Rourke & O'Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, N.Y. on Wednesday April 17, 2013 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at which time funeral services will be held with Kevin John officiating.

Burial will be in Memorial Heights Cemetery, Jimersontown.
