Dolores M. Keller

Dolores M. Keller, 94, of Havelock, NC, formerly of Salamanca, NY died peacefully Tuesday morning, July 23, 2024 at her son's home.

Born May 6, 1930 in Salamanca, NY, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Helen Rickert Frenz. She was married December 27, 1952 in Little Valley, NY to Daniel R. Keller, who predeceased her in 2018.

She attended Little Valley High School.

Dolores had been employed with the former Fancher Furniture Company, Salamanca, NY and Bordens, Little Valley, NY.

She was a former member of the United Brethren Methodist Church. She enjoyed the outdoors, flowers and gardening, crocheting and knitting, traveling, and riding on the back of motorcycles with her husband, and most importantly her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She and her husband Dan began cross-country skiing in their 50s and enjoyed doing that for many years.

Surviving are: two daughters, Kathryn (Jack) Issertell, Buckeye, AZ, Karla (George) Liner, Havelock, NC; a son, Daniel (Brenda) Keller, Havelock, NC; a granddaughter, Anna (Bob) Johnson, Clover SC; three grandsons, Kristopher (Michelle) Addison, Richland, GA, Daniel A. (Caity) Keller, Salamanca, NY, Kyle (Lacey) Keller, Salamanca, NY; three great-granddaughters, Olivia Johnson, Johanna Keller, and Sylvie Keller; four great-grandsons, Kolt Keller, Barrett Keller, Daniel Keller, and Rip Keller; she was much loved by many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by two sisters, Joyce Champlin and Barbara Johnson, a brother, Carl Frenz, and an infant brother, Stanley Frenz.

A memorial service will be held in the O'Rourke & O'Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, NY on Sunday, October 13, 2024 at 1pm.

Burial will be in Little Valley Rural Cemetery.
