Don Kammire
Mr. Don J. Kammire, age 65, of State Line Road, Frewsburg, New York died Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at W.C.A. Hospital, Jamestown, New York.
Born on January 25, 1945 in Salamanca, New York he was the son of the late Donald and Josephine Williams Kammire. He was married to the former Arvilla Lamberson Arena who predeceased him.
He was veteran of the U.S. Marines serving at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba during the Cuban Missile Crisis.
Mr. Kammire was employed by the former Rhodes Construction Company and later as a self employed contractor.
He was a former member of St. Mary's Episcopal Church. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was known as a wonderful tracker who tracked game.
Surviving are: 2 sons, Donald Kammire, Jamie Kammire, both of Erwin, Tennessee; 2 sisters, Kay (Charles) Prey, Rochester, New York, Joan (Bill) Lockwood, Little Valley, New York; several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a sister, Karla Florio.
There will be no visitation.
Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery, Salamanca, New York at the convenience of the family.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O'Rourke & O'Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, New York.
