Donald B. Moore

Donald B. Moore Jr., 51, of Great Valley, NY died Wednesday afternoon, December 29, 2021 at Olean General Hospital following a short illness.

Born August 2, 1970 in Cuba, NY, he was the son of the late Donald Sr. and Jane Pitts Moore. He was married on July 21, 1990 to the former Traci Potter, who survives.

He attended Ellicottville Central School.

Don owned and operated Two Dons Auto Repair in Great Valley for over ten years.

He enjoyed his family, especially his grandchildren, the outdoors, hunting, and fishing. He was a car enthusiast and enjoyed doing carpentry.

He was a lifetime member of the Great Valley Fire Company.

Surviving besides his wife are: a daughter, Nycole (Garrett) Bowen; a son, Donald (Danielle Pierce) Moore III, both of Great Valley, NY; two grandchildren, Axel Moore, Benjamin Bowen; two sisters, Linda Moore, Great Valley, NY and Patricia (Ron Hoover) Farr, Cattaraugus, NY; brother-in-law, Darin Sr (Sherrie) Potter, Great Valley, NY; mother-in-law, Anna Potter, Great Valley, NY; two nieces, Madison Potter, Makayla Potter, both of Great Valley, NY; two nephews, Brandon (Alissa) Potter, Great Valley, NY, Darin (Stacey) Potter Jr, Randolph, NY; several great-nieces and -nephews.

Friends may call at the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, NY on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 from 1-4 pm, at which time funeral services will be held with Pastor Josh Freundschuh of the Humphrey Baptist Church officiating.
