Donald Caswell

Mr. Donald E. Caswell, age 80, of 34 Quilter Street, Salamanca, New York died Sunday morning, April 4, 2010 at his home.

Born on March 16, 1930 in Bradford, Pa. he was the son of the late Francis and Marjorie Robertson Caswell. He was married on January 14, 1950 to the former Bertha Senear who survives.

Mr. Caswell owned and operated Caswell Machine Shop until his retirement in 1991.

He was a member of the former Salamanca Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #1002.

Surviving besides his wife are: a son, Edward (Patricia) Caswell, Bliss Street, Salamanca, New York; a daughter, Diane (David) Chase, Quilter Street, Salamanca, New York; 7 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; a brother, Milford “Fred” (Carol) Caswell, Fruitland Park, Fla.; a sister, Esther Ferstlar, Orlando, Fla.; several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a son, Wesley Caswell, a grandson, James Caswell, a brother, Paul Jones.

There will be no visitation.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, New York.
