Earla Clark

Earla Clark, 69, formerly of Randolph, Cattaraugus, East Otto, and Salamanca, NY, died Monday, August 29, 2016 at the Heritage Green Rehab and Skilled Nursing, Greenhurst, NY following a long illness.

Born November 15, 1946 in Punxsutawney, PA, she was the daughter of the late Earl & Sheila Senard Hamilton.

Mrs. Clark had been employed as a Dietary Aide at Bertrand Chaffee Hospital in Springville, NY and at Pinetree Apartments as a Domestic Engineer in Ellicottville, NY.

She was a member of the Little Valley Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies’ Auxiliary, and was a volunteer for medical travel for 25 years. She enjoyed ceramics, baking, and animals.

Surviving are: 3 daughters, Sheila (Raymond) Wilkey, Cattaraugus, NY, Kelly Ryan, Cattaraugus, NY, Tara (John) Ryan, Otto, NY; a son, Trevor (Jene) Whalen, Gowanda, NY; 9 grandchildren, Brad (Christi) Wilkey, East Otto, NY, Brent Wilkey, Buffalo, NY, Caitlin (Jeremiah) Bigham, Delevan, NY, Matthew Ryan, Mackenzie Ryan, both of Cattaraugus, NY, Chelsea (Jared) Ryan, Machias, NY, Dustin (Casey) Ryan, Little Valley, NY, Alissa Scott, IN, Teigan Barcia, Gowanda, NY; 4 great-grandchildren, Hunter Ryan, Machias, NY, Jillian Bigham, Delevan, NY, the Ryan twins, Little Valley, NY; a sister, Sandy Brower, Chicago, IL; a niece and a nephew.

She was predeceased by a son, Thomas Clark, a granddaughter, Arielle, and a brother, Earl Hamilton.

There will be no visitation.

A Memorial Mass will be held in Our Lady of Peace Parish on Friday, September 16, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Peter Napierkowski, pastor, as celebrant.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O'Rourke & O'Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, NY.
