Edward "Eddie" Moore

Edward “Eddie” Moore, 33, of Salamanca, NY died early Thursday morning, May 25, 2023 at Olean General Hospital.

Born May 31, 1989 in Olean, NY he was the son of Suzanne Carpus Moore of Salamanca and the late Gary Moore.

He was a graduate of Salamanca High School, Class of 2007.

Eddie had been employed with McDonald’s and Tim Hortons in Salamanca, NY.

He will be remembered for always helping others. He enjoyed watching baseball and football and was an avid Boston Red Sox, LA Rams, and Oregon Ducks fan. He also followed the Buffalo Bills.

Surviving besides his mother are: a sister, Tracy Whitcomb, Salamanca, NY; a brother, Todd (Debbie Oakes) Moore, Salamanca, NY; a niece, Erica Whitcomb, Salamanca, NY; five nephews, Darrin (Lindsey Roblee) Whitcomb, Salamanca, NY, Dustin (Alicia Titus) Whitcomb, Salamanca, NY, Andre (Hayley Dreaver) Whitcomb, Allegany, NY, Jakeob (Chelsea Ryan) Calvert, Bliss, NY, Todd Moore Jr., TN; two aunts, Rosanne (Douglas) Cary, Suffolk, VA, Toni (Dan) Holly, Durham, NC; four uncles, Wayne (Wanda) Carpus, Clinton, NC, Peter (Diana) Carpus, Irving, NY, Kermit (Debbie) Moore, Great Valley, NY, Pat Moore, Salamanca, NY; several great-nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Friends may call at the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, NY on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in Our Lady of Peace Parish, 274 Broad Street, Salamanca, NY on Wednesday at 10 a.m. with Rev. Moses Ikuelogbon as celebrant.

Burial will be in Crawford Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
