Elizabeth "Betty" Printup

Elizabeth "Betty" Printup, age 78, of Center Rd. Jimersontown, New York died Friday, October 24, 2008 at Erie County Medical Center, Buffalo, New York following a brief illness.

Born on November 20, 1929 in Red House, New York she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Juanita Bomberry Printup.

She was employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse at the Cattaraugus County Nursing Home in Olean, prior to her retirement and was previously employed at the Salamanca District Hospital and Brooks Hospital, Dunkirk, New York.

Betty was an enrolled member of the Seneca Nation of Indians belonging to the Hawk Clan, a member of the Presbyterian Church, Iroquois Senior Citizens, and was a member of the Allegany Temperance Lodge.

She enjoyed bowling, sports, and family.

Surviving are: one sister, Ethel Printup and several nephews and one niece

Friends may call at the family home, 3736 Center Street, Jimersontown, New York on Sunday after 1:00 P.M and all day Monday.

Funeral services are incomplete and under the direction of the O'Rourke & O'Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, New York and will be announced.

Burial will be in Memorial Heights Cemetery, Jimersontown, New York.
