Emily B. Salim
Emily B. Salim, 34, cherished daughter of Lori and Richard Antholzner, of Little Valley, NY died peacefully at her parents’ home Tuesday morning, November 26, 2024 following a long illness.
Emily was born November 1, 1990 in Springville, NY.
She held a variety of careers, ranging from head bank teller to property management.
She was a gentle, kind-hearted soul who always put others first. Emily loved spending time with her sisters and often planned fun-filled days of activities. She was known to organize family parties, game days, and large family meals. Thanksgiving was her favorite holiday.
Emily was an animal lover to a fault, bringing home every stray she could find. She will be greatly missed by her cat, Boo, whom she adopted after finding him under the neighbor’s shed.
Her favorite thing to do was collect beach glass along the shores of Lake Erie.
Surviving besides her parents are: two sisters, Courtney Antholzner, Syracuse, NY, Alison Antholzner, Little Valley, NY; grandmother, Sue Cross, Little Valley, NY; grandparents, Richard and Ann Antholzner, Holland, NY; her father, Shawn (Angela) Salim; siblings, Skylar, Savannah, and Gabriel, all of Fredonia, NY; many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was predeceased by her maternal grandfather, John H. Cross, uncle, David D. Cross, paternal grandmother, Judi Salim, paternal grandfather, Danny Miller, and infant brothers, Alexander and Zachary Salim.
There will be no visitation.
Per Emily’s wishes, a private family service will be held.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, NY.
