Fay Sischo

Fay E. Sischo, 83, of Salamanca, New York died Friday morning, May 30, 2014 at Olean General Hospital, Olean, New York.

Born February 11, 1931 in Jamestown, New York, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Rose Johnson Bentley. She was married in 1947 to Mr. Leslie H. Sischo, who predeceased her on November 7, 1989.

She was an enrolled member of the Seneca Nation of Indians, Hawk Clan.

Surviving are: 1 daughter, Linda (Adrian Jr.) Szarowicz, Lackawanna, NY; 3 sons, Howard (Judy) Sischo, Warwick, RI, John (Deb) Sischo, Salamanca, NY, Mark (Doreen McCord) Sischo, Salamanca, NY; 6 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a son, Dale Sischo and a brother, Donner Johnson.

Friends may call at the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, New York on Monday, June 2, 2014 from 4 – 7 p.m.

Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Marvin Abrams of the Jimersontown Presbyterian Church officiating.

Burial will be in Crawford Cemetery.
