Frances P. "Paula" Delity, age75 , of Machias, New York, formerly of Ellicottville, New York died Sunday, August 28, 2011 at the Cuba Memorial Hospital, Cuba, New York.
Born on July 16, 1936 in Salamanca, New York she was the daughter of the late Frank & Josephine Lenda Nobles. She was married on May 11, 1957 at Holy Name of Mary Church in Ellicottville, New York to Mr. Joseph Delity who survives.
Mrs. Delity was employed at the former Quality Markets, FMB Ceramics in Ellicottville, and the former Loblaw's in Salamanca prior to her marriage.
She was a member of Holy Name of Mary Church, Ellicottville, New York.
Surviving are: 4 daughters, Josephine (Timothy) Raab, Ellicottville, New York, Barbara (Daniel) Raab, Delavan, New York, Elizabeth Delity, East Aurora, New York, Ann Margaret (Timothy) McNeill, Dayton, Ohio; a son, Joseph Delity III, Olean, New York; 5 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; a sister, Mary Catherine Kerr, Syracuse, New York; several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a brother, Daniel Nobles; 2 sisters, Monica Nobles and Barbara Wujastyk.
Friends may call at the O'Rourke & O'Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, New York on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in Holy Name of Mary Church in Ellicottville, New York on Friday at 11 A.M. with Rev. Ronald Mierzwa, pastor, as celebrant.
Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Ellicottville, New York.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the American Heart Association or Cuba Memorial Hospital, Cuba, New York.
