Frank R. Keeley

Mr. Frank R. Keeley, 79, of Great Valley, NY died Sunday morning, February 2, 2020 at home following a long illness.

Born May 5, 1940 in Woodbury, NJ, he was the son of the late Joseph and Gwendolyn Widger Keeley. He was married on August 2, 1982 in Las Vegas, NV to the former Tara Muphy, who survives.

Mr. Keeley was a veteran of the United States Navy, serving for 20 years.

He had been employed in the Public Affairs Office of the United States Navy at Bethesda Naval Hospital, Bethesda, MD retiring in 2001.

He enjoyed spending time with his family, telling a good joke and will be remembered for being a prankster. He also enjoyed the outdoors, camping, canoeing, and card playing.

Surviving besides his wife are: two sons, Robert “Joel” Keeley, Barry Keeley, both of Atlanta, GA; a daughter, Denise (Jack) Walker, Olean, NY; four grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a son, Antony Keeley in 2018.

There will be no visitation or funeral services. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, NY.
