Franklin D. Richardson

Mr. Franklin D. Richardson, age 75, of Great Valley Street, Salamanca, New York died Saturday evening, August 16, 2008 at Olean General Hospital, Olean, New York.

Born on March 3, 1933 in Maderia, PA., he was the son of the late Mr. & Mrs. Richardson. He was married on December 15, 1956 to the former Beatrice Gafagan who predeceased him on September 3, 2002.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Mr. Richardson was employed at Dresser Rand for 42 years prior to his retirement in 2002.

Surviving are: 2 sons, Dean (Colette) Richardson, Vancouver, WA., Franklin (Susan) Richardson, Ellicottville, New York; a brother, Bill (Joyce) Richardson, Maderia, PA.

There will be no visitation.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O'Rourke & O'Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, New York.
