George Colter

Mr. George Colter, age 71, of Kill Buck, NY died Saturday, May 27, 2017 at Olean General Hospital, Olean NY.

Born January 6, 1946, he was the son of the late Fenner and Helen Golaszewski Colter. He was married to the former Shirley Kelley, who survives.

Mr. Colter had been employed with Setterstix in Cattaraugus, NY for 35 years prior to his retirement.

He was a member of the National Rifle Association and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Surviving are: three daughters, Cindy (Martin) Danner, WY, Cheri (William) Bliss, Kill Buck, NY, Celia Chapin, Salamanca, NY; two sons, Fenner Colter, Kill Buck, NY, Fred Colter, Salamanca, NY; thirteen grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; a brother, Walter Golaszewski, Little Valley, NY; a sister, Maggie Yehl, Little Valley, NY; several nieces and nephews.

There will be no visitation.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, NY.
