George McCracken

George McCracken, age 49, of Great Valley, New York died Monday, December 16, 2013 at the Olean General Hospital, Olean, New York following a long illness.

Born April 29, 1964 in Salamanca, New York, he was the son of the late George and Leotta Schneider McCracken. He was married on May 5, 1986 to the former Melanie Miller, who survives.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting and auto mechanics.

Surviving besides his wife are: 1 son, Steven Miller, Great Valley, New York; 2 daughters, Amanda (Alan) Kelley, Great Valley, New York and Bobbi McCracken, Salamanca, New York; 5 grandchildren; 3 sisters, Dora (Clifford) Bryant, Great Valley, New York, Vivian Miller, Olean, New York, and Irene Haines, Otto, New York; 1 brother, Charles McCracken, Olean, New York.

There will be no visitation.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O'Rourke & O'Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, New York.
