George Metzler Jr.

Mr. George Metzler Jr., 54, of Salamanca, NY, formerly of California, died Wednesday evening, November 30, 2016 at Erie County Medical Center, Buffalo, NY as the result of injuries sustained from motor vehicle-pedestrian accident.

Born July 4, 1962 in Olean, NY, he was the son of George Metzler Sr., Great Valley, NY and the late Lorraine Frost Metzler.

Mr. Metzler was a graduate of Salamanca High School Class of 1980.

Surviving besides his father are: two sisters, Judy Hoag, Great Valley, NY, Patricia (Gregory) Reynolds, Little Valley, NY; four nephews, Justin (Alichia King) Hoag, Cattaraugus, NY, Mitchell Hoag, Salamanca, NY, Nathan Reynolds, Matthew Reynolds, both of Little Valley, NY.

There will be no visitation or funeral services.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, NY.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to Genesis House, 107 South Barry Street, Olean, NY 14760.
